FLY FISHING STRATEGIES ONLY AVAILABLE TO THE EZ FLYCASTER ANGLER.

An EZ Flycaster Line will permit an angler to achieve any strategy or technique available to a traditional fly angler . . . and more!  There are several presentations and strategies that are available with an EZ Flycaster Line that are not possible for a traditional angler.

Easy and effective casting in very tight surroundings.  While traditional fly lines can be roll-cast, an EZ Flycaster Line can be effectively flip cast in areas too tight for even a conventional roll cast with a fly line.  It is also possible to hold the fly in the fingers of the left hand (for a right-handed angler) and flex the rod, releasing and sending the line and fly out effectively.  Otherwise, all casting presentations available for the traditional fly caster are identically possible with an EZ Flycaster line.

Slow drift a nymph at the speed of the water at the bottom of the river where the fish are usually holding.  This is a difficult demand for a traditional fly caster, especially if the desired drift zone is a distance beyond the reach of the rod.  The problem is that water at the surface is likely faster than the water at the bottom where the fish are holding.  That means that the floating fly line is dragging the fly through the water faster than the normal offerings where the fish are holding.  An EZ Flycaster makes the slow drift possible because it automatically orients itself with the water flow and slows the drift.  You will get more strike and you will catch more fish.

With an EZ Flycaster line there is virtually no line control required.  Line control is always a required consideration with a traditional fly line.  Since the EZ Flycaster is on very fine casting line, all concerns for line control to avoid drag or entanglement virtually disappear.

Because of the lack of line control issues, it is possible more effectively fish across various tongues of moving and still water.  There is virtually no drag created on the surface by the large diameter traditional fly line.   Thus, you can productively fish areas that you would not even consider with traditional fly line.

If you are a saltwater fisherman who does sight fishing for bonefish, redfish, snook, spotted sea trout, or tarpon, you will be amazed at what an EZ Flycaster will permit.  There is no need to strip line and lay it on the deck of the boat or in the water in front of you.  There is no need to false cast to get your line and fly ready for the presentation.  Simply spot the fish and instantaneously cast with an EZ Flycaster.  I can safely say from personal experience that you will catch more fish!

If your fishing strategy should suddenly require a neutral of sinking line approach, the EZ Flycaster can be adjusted immediately by placing a small hollow weight at the head of the line appropriate for the technique.  This is easily accomplished because the EZ Flycaster is connected to the casting line and tapered leader with a loop-to-loop handshake connection.  And because of the handshake connection, it is possible to very quickly change the size of EZ Flycaster you are using if a different weight of fly is required.

An EZ Flycaster line does not require treatment with floatant to continue floating effectively.  It will float regardless.

And last but not least, playing a fish is easier with a good spinning reel with an effective drag setting than it is with a conventional fly reel.  I have considerable experience with reel drags since I did a drag study for Outdoor Life Magazine by designing and using a drag testing machine called “Dragenstein”.  You will effectively land more prize fish with a high performance spinning rig than you will with a conventional fly line rig.
